Active Codes aims to make its editorial content usable by people with a broad range of abilities, devices and assistive technologies.

Our approach

We work toward clear heading structure, keyboard access, visible focus states, readable color contrast, responsive layouts, meaningful link text, alternative text for informative images, captions where context matters and tables that remain usable on smaller screens.

Known limitations

Some third-party services or legacy browser behavior may not provide the same level of accessibility as our own templates. We review new features before enabling them and avoid decorative motion that cannot be reduced.

If you encounter a barrier, email admin@activecodes.co.uk with “Accessibility” in the subject line. Please include the page address, the issue, the browser or assistive technology used when comfortable, and the format or accommodation that would help.

Ongoing review

Accessibility is part of our article, design and deployment checks. We prioritize issues that block access to core content or essential privacy and contact information.
