How We Review

A useful review is a record of evidence, judgment and limits—not a decorative score. We show readers what we examined, what we could not verify and which trade-offs should guide a decision.

1. Define the decision

We identify the reader, intended use, market and meaningful alternatives. The brief records which factors can change the decision: dimensions, materials, compatibility, care, service, safety information, return terms, warranty coverage and likely ownership effort.

2. Build a source record

We collect primary product or seller information, applicable public guidance and credible contextual sources. Sources are matched to individual claims and dated. Marketing descriptions are treated as claims, not independent evidence.

3. Examine the object and the offer separately

Product qualities and seller conditions are different questions. We consider construction, features and intended use separately from delivery, returns, support, warranties, subscriptions or other service terms. A strong product does not erase a weak policy, and a generous policy does not prove product quality.

4. Compare on common criteria

Every option in a comparison is assessed against the same stated framework. Criteria are chosen for relevance, not to manufacture a winner. We explain where a preference or use case may change the outcome.

5. Verify commercial details

Before commercial publication, the site, merchant and intended UK or U.S. traffic must be approved for the relevant Partnerize program. Promotion, availability and pricing details require a current merchant source and a verification time. Expired or unapproved offers are not published.

6. Complete editorial, safety and visual checks

The final review checks the headline, claims, local language and units, disclosures, links, image rights, alternative text, prohibited topics, mobile layout and accessibility. An article cannot be published with broken images or placeholder modules.
